This afternoon we went on the Rheilffordd Llyn Padarn Lanberis Lake Railway. The scenery is breathtaking. The quarry at its peak employed over 3,000 men. In the ‘old days’ they sure had to work for a living. There’s Pride all around the place.

Arrived yesterday evening. Was looking forward to talking to Welsh people but the locals speak like the English. They say they’re the plastic English. Don’t care, really nice people, really genuine.
