We’re now leaving Wales and on our way home to the West of Scotland. The week has left me with Pride and Sadness. Pride cause I often heard people speaking Welsh and flying the Union Flag. So many people proud to be Welsh and equally proud to be British. I am proud to be a Scot but equally proud to be British. The Sadness isn’t in the leaving, I’d like to return. The Sadness is in the realisation of how in danger my Scotland is. To fly the Union Jack is seen as Bigotry and Political. So sad and deeply worrying. The people of Wales have shown me their Pride, but also their courage. My fellow Scots need to learn from the Welsh.
