Friday 15 April 2022 – The Russian Defence Ministry claimed that its S-400 defense systems had shot down a Ukrainian Mi-8 helicopter, which was allegedly used to attack the Klimovo village in the Bryansk region of Russia. The Russian Defence Ministry also claimed that the Ilyich Steel and Iron Plant in Mariupol had been “liberated” from Ukrainian forces, implying that Russian forces had taken control of the plant. The Ministry also claimed that its strategic rocket forces had “eliminated up to 30 Polish mercenaries” in a strike on the village of Iziumske. Ukrainian forces regained control of Rohan in Kharkiv Oblast.
