What started out as a big welcome to migrants by the general public has now turned into chants of “enough is enough.” While all attention was on the dangers of the coronavirus, the economic lockdowns, and the resulting destruction of the economy, a steady stream of illegal Muslim migrants has been entering Britain in total defiance of COVID rules and the rule of law. UK authorities simply turned a blind eye. The protests against illegal migration proved too embarrassing for one politician, Natalie Elphicke, who said: “It’s time to stop the small boats crossings but today’s protestors are not welcome in Dover.”
