March 2020. Commonwealth Day is an annual celebration observed by people all over the Commonwealth in Africa, Asia, the Caribbean and Americas, the Pacific and Europe. Commonwealth Day 2020 is being celebrated today with events across Five Continents, Flag Waving, Church Services, Poetry Mornings, Dance Performances and much more. This year’s event is centred around the theme ‘Delivering a Common Future’, highlighting how the member countries in the Commonwealth family are ‘Innovating, Connecting and Transforming’ to help achieve some of its biggest goals like protecting natural resources and boosting trade. The Queen, as Head of the Commonwealth, is joining Secretary-General Patricia Scotland at Westminster Abbey for a multi-faith service to celebrate the day. The Commonwealth comprises of 54 countries, across all continents, and many want to join . The members have a combined population of 2.4 Billion People, almost One Third of the World Population. It’s a Unique institution and The Queen has been its Head for Years. It’s an Institution of Peace and this kind of Diversity is what the World needs! The Peoples Integrate into the Host Nation because they have a Common Understanding. The Queen is an Amazing Human Being, whomover says otherwise has a Political or other Agenda. There was a Protest going on outside Westminster Abbey when The Queen arrived, I Profoundly Agree with Free Speech, but what the hell has happened to Respect in our Society? Aye I know, Diversity! Happy Commonwealth Day and Be Proud.
