July 2016. A Crazy and Mind Numbing Figure that perhaps takes a Bit of Time to Sink In. There are At Least 200,000,000 Girls and Women Worldwide who have Undergone Female Genital Mutilation, that’s a UN figure, At Least 200 Million! It’s a Practice now described by the UN as Child Abuse, they took their time but ok. Kenya is One of the Countries where it still goes on with 1 in 5 between the ages of 40 and 49 having been ‘Cut’ as it’s Scarily Called. The Kenyan Authorities are now Trying to Eradicate the Practice. There’s too many Occasions, and this as sure as Hell is One, when I need to ask, what Century are we Living In?
