The Authorities failed to Act, intimidated by fear of being Accused of Racism; the Gang was of Pakistani origin. If anything is to be learned here it surely has to be that the people that are placed with the responsibilities of upholding the law, they need to do what is Right, and that is to uphold the law no matter what.
