I’m just doing a personal touch here. “You Raise Me Up” is a song I always equate with my Father. He never said much, I guess I take after him in too many ways, but his Look, if annoyed, always sorted me out. He encouraged me into music which I loved; involved in the writing of, the therapy, the release. I spoke to Brendan Graham on only one occasion; he’s the lyricist of the song I’m directing you to, ten odd years older than me but he struck me to be ten years younger! Is that a statement on Brendan or me, probably the later. I’m struggling climbing that mountain just now, I know I had to give up the music thing, it’s now my campaigning thing that I’m in to. It’s one hell of a mountain I’ve chosen, but for the sake of my children’s children, I need to climb that mountain. My Dad is with me.
