19 March 2022. It’s been more than three weeks since Russia launched its invasion of Ukraine. The Kremlin’s operational progress has been “significantly blunted” due to its failure to control Ukrainian airspace, the UK Defence Ministry said. Overnight, Russian artillery attacks continued to bombard residential areas in Kyiv, killing hundreds. Kyiv’s military administration said 229 people, including four children, have been killed since the start of the war. Russia has killed 847 Ukrainian civilians, including 64 children, since Russia attacked Ukraine, the United Nations said.
