DESPICABLE! Police Scotland forced into humiliating apology after forcing women to walk home via Kelvingrove Park in the dark because of VIPs at COP26 reception. One woman said: “They don’t care about ordinary women’s safety, they care about the first minister and the duchess of whatever.” Dozens of women said they feared for their safety as some were sent on 90 minute diversions despite only being yards from their destination. This is a classic example of the attitude of the police in Scotland with regards Women’s Rights!

I was truly shocked when I read this. There is so much in the media just now regarding violence against women and yet this is how the police act? Another example of their opinion on women’s safety and their overall priorities.
