New Users can’t Register with JetPack

I’m no computer whizz kid, in fact, quite the opposite. At the beginning of the month I installed a WordPress plugin called JetPack onto my site. I’ve not been able to gain one single new user since that date. I’ve not had all that much time to mess about with it. It’s supposed to give added security as well as other things, bells and whistles if you like.

I’ve gave up on the issue and deactivated it, I have more important issues to address. I am hoping that if someone failed to register they will return to here and give it another go. I’m promoting this post to Twitter, Gab, Gettr and Parler as usual.

The other issues I need to address are looking at why the users I have that were registering on a near daily basis, they aren’t making comment! If I register with a site, it’s for a purpose and that is to get involved to at least some degree. But not one comment? So I’m considering it is a technical issue and so this non whizz kid has a big job ahead.

Another important issue that needs addressed is an ability to sustain this site, to develop this site and to effectively challenge the world issues that I feel need effectively challenged. In short, to do that I need money. I need to make this site far more professional, far more “glossy”, far more functional. I need to professionally promote this site, let the world know of the existence of docterr.com. I need to improve the security of the site, I thought JetPack was the answer, okay I was wrong there. I need to reduce my day job working time so I can get more focused, there are so many places on the internet I want to go and research, but there simply isn’t the time just now.

Okay, thanks for reading, sorry I went on a bit.
