July 2015. Eid al-Fitr marks the end of the fasting month of Ramadan, it’s supposed to be a time of celebration. People had gathered at the market in the Shia town of Khan Bani Saad. The Sunni daesh drove a truck into the crowd killing over 100 and injuring just as many. It’s difficult trying to stay removed from events such as this. In another place I could’ve been walking about the market with my son or daughter. Some people on this planet think it’s right to drive a truck full of 3 tons of explosives into a crowd. Where the hell is this world going?
