Morrissey has launched a tirade against halal – the Islamic method of animal slaughter – describing it as ‘evil’ and claiming it needs approval from ‘supporters of ISIS’. In an interview on a fan website earlier this week, the ex-Smiths frontman also attacked London Mayor Sadiq Khan, saying he couldn’t ‘talk properly’ and that London was ‘debased’. Nice one Sir, have to listen to your music more often.
