Half the town originally contained three Jewish Tribes and they didn’t last long. For all the remaining Arabs, they became Muslims, this is the Ultimate Non-Assimilation which is Annialation of the Native Culture. This is important because Muhammad is seen as the Perfect Example of the Perfect Muslim. Annialation is the ultimate non-assimilation. We’ve seen this in Turkey which used to be Christian, North Africa used to be Christian; Egypt, Iraq and Syria used to be Christian; they all became Islamic, once again, Annialation not Assimilation. Not all Muslims are going to come across as if they want to Annialate you. There’s Two Faces to Islam. There’s the Face of Mecca which is Peaceful and Kind, but then there’s the Medina Face, and this happens when they’re Strong.
