Amanda Reddin, who is due to take charge of the Team GB women gymnasts at next year’s Olympics, says she completely refutes ITV’s report. Britain’s top women’s gymnastics coach has been dragged into the sport’s abuse scandal amid claims she had been subject of a number of complaints over several decades. ITV News also alleged on Monday that Amanda Reddin, who is due to take charge of Team GB’s women at next year’s postponed Olympics, was at the centre of two cases that were still under investigation. The network reported that a former gymnast had been told by British Gymnastics that a complaint she submitted against Reddin earlier this year, but which related to historic matters, had not been upheld. Her allegations were said to focus on a four-year period in the mid-to-late 1980s, starting when the gymnast was nine years old and Reddin was a coach at the Brighton Gymnastics Club.
