Hamish Macdonald – “Massive fractures are appearing in Denmark’s once cohesive society. A far-right political party demanding the deportation of all Muslims and the preservation of the country for its “ethnic community” will be on the ballot paper in Denmark for the first time, in a general election due to be called within days.” The Stram Kurs, or Hard Line party, led by Rasmus Paludan is on track to gain MPs after recently passing a threshold of voter support needed to stand in the election. Macdonald finds him Bating Muslims, throwing the Koran around in a Multi-Cultural park in a suburb of Copenhagen. He’s trying to kick start a Riot, he records everything. He’s an Extremist and he’s Wrong. Rasmus explains his behaviour – “The intention is to explain to them and make them understand that That is the premise of being a citizen in a Democratic Society. For instance, when they tell me that they are just as much Danes as I am, I find that Extremely Offensive, even if they’re born here. The Danes are an Ethnic Group, and we are haling from the German ethnic tribes that came here many hundreds of years ago. We are a group, together with the Swedes and the Norwegians and to a lesser extent the Icelanders and so forth.” He actually makes the point how Multi-Culturalism isn’t working in the UK and elsewhere. The Indigenous People are Distinct and the Danes are Fighting to Preserve that Distinctness. I can’t say this on Facebook or YouTube, but what the hell is Wrong with that?
