UK Culture under Direct Attack Part 16

On Sunday thousands of demonstrators gathered in Trafalgar Square for a “Kneel for Floyd” protest, while hundreds marched through Peckham and Brixton in south London on Monday.
Placards displayed statements such as “Racism has no place” and “I can’t breathe”, in reference to Mr Floyd’s final words as Mr Chauvin knelt on his neck. Demonstrations have also taken place in Cardiff and Manchester, and in Ireland, thousands protested outside the US embassy in Dublin on Monday. This taking a knee thing is a simple symbol of power, nothing less and nothing more and so many people have fallen for it.
