It’s observed that there’s now a change if you want to be nominated for a BAFTA Award in that you’ve got to show effort in solidarity with Diversity, either in front of or behind the camera, and it’s agreed that it Distorts Creativity. Fox makes the point that, “…if you go down the Diversity Road you’re going to end up with Second Best of Everything, be it a Footballer, Traffic Controller or Actor!” He doesn’t understand where it’s come from and finds it “Odd”. It’s noted that “the Woke Thing, or the Identity Policy Thing seems to have descended within the past few years” They discuss where it’s come from. Fox feels that “…the Financial Crisis and people getting away with what they got away with, and the iphone and Social Media would’ve played a part in it”. Social Media can be seen as “the Death of God, there’s that need to fill your Moral Gap, your Compassion Gap. This desire to be hugely Compassionate which is sort of a Religion of One, you are the God in your Religion and if people don’t agree with you, they are the Heretic and they need to be Punished!” He sees the Woke Thing as a Religion, “…it’s Intolerant in its extreme form, it feels Very Dangerous, at least with other religions the God Head is Outside of you, but the Woke Thing the God is Within you, so you cannot be Hypocritical cause you are of God, and those with a sensible Liberal Opinion which I feel I have, I find it Maddening, I don’t like being lectured to.” He makes comment on one of his best friends being a Prison Officer, one of the examples of White Privilege and he says he’s far from that, and he’s a Socialist and they Disagree on Most, but have Amazing Conversations; he notes you can’t have Conversations with people of the Woke Thing!
