Mark Collett talking about his Youth – “I regularly say to young people, you know, if you want to be involved in Nationalism and you’re under the age of 30, maybe don’t be front and centre, maybe come along to my events, maybe learn about it, maybe spend a couple of years around people who’ve done it for a longer period before you decide that you want to Stick your Neck on the Line. But Nationalism has always had a Habit of taking young, eager people and getting them into a Lot of Trouble. And I think one of the reasons that happens is because there’s a lot of older nationalists, there certainly was when I was doing those shows, who themselves have been involved in a lot of trouble. And for some Strange Reason, they seem to get something out of young people Repeating the Mistakes that they made. And I get nothing, I say to all young people, don’t do the same thing that I did! And if you are going to get involved, make sure it’s what you want and spend a good period of time learning what it’s really about and building up to doing something before you just Jump In. Don’t just jump in at the Deep End. And I think that’s something that happens here on YouTube as well. You see so many Talented Young People and they Burn Themselves Out so Quickly. And if I was talking to those young people, I’d be like, you know, don’t jump in at the deep end. Don’t go hell for leather, because in six months, 12 months, 18 months, you might have changed your mind, or you might burn yourself out. Pace yourself, learn what it’s about, and Be in this Struggle for the Long Run, because We Need those young people. We need them to be Clean. We need them to be Free of Criminal Records, or Stigma. And we need them to really Understand the Core of Why we’re doing this, and how to bring about a Better Future in the Most Effective Way.”
