Mark Collett – “One of the things you said there I’ve really got a comment on, as you talked about these Youngsters and they have their pictures taken with the Police Officers, who’s got the Submachine Gun or the Assault Rifle. For us, that’s quite Jarring because I remember as a Child, you know, going Christmas Shopping, my parents are going to, you know, sit on someone’s knee and tell him what I wanted. And there was None of That. So for me, there’s a real jarring sort of Reality there. This is how it Used to Be. This is how it Is Now. We’ve gone from Safe, Happy, Cohesive Christmas Time to Police Officers who look like something out of a Sci-Fi Dystopian sci-fi Novel. But the sad thing is for these children having their pictures taken with the police officers, with the submachine guns, That is their Reality! That’s all they know from a Child to an Adult, that’s all they’ll see! They’ve been Habituated from Birth almost to Believe that this is the Norm for Them! Concrete Blocks dressed up as Presents around the Christmas Market is the Norm. They’ve never seen anything different! And that’s the Big or One of the Big Worries, because trying to Convince these People that there Was another way, that there Was a Better Way is so much More Difficult when they’ve never seen it! You know, if you grow up in the pen, and you’ve never been out in the Freedom of the Field, do you even know what the Freedom of the Field is? You don’t even know what you’re missing!”
