Mark Collett – “You go to these shopping centres, places like High Cross in Leicester, and then there’s the Bullring in Birmingham. And when you go into them, they are actually Beautiful Buildings. They are very well maintained, they are always made from what looks like very, very fine Quality Materials. You know, you often see sort of large Marble Pillars. You have Polished Floors, Glass, Chrome, and all of the stores look Shiny as well. And it’s almost like those shopping centres are these kind of Perfect and Pristine centre-pieces of these Cities. But as soon as you Leave that perfect and pristine Bubble, you see the Reality of what you’re really in! And when I was at the Bullring or when I was at High Cross in Leicester, you’re walking around inside those shopping centres, and you feel there’s an air of Calm, Security, everyone there sort of Behaves Themselves. But as soon as you Leave those areas, the reality of Multi-Culturalism Hits and then you can kind of See that if Multi-Culturalism existed, but there wasn’t the Money, there wasn’t the Creature Comforts, there wasn’t that kind of Bubble of being able to go into Primark and fill two shopping trolleys with budget clothes and then go into Pizza Express to have a, you know, a pizza and a coke before you went home, the Grimness of it all would feel Far, Far more Real for Everyone. It’s kind of similar with the European Parliament. When I was active in the British National Party, we had two MEPs and I travelled to the European Parliament. And when you go inside the European Parliament, it’s an Amazing Building and it’s almost like they built a City inside a City. It’s got this Huge Glass Roof, there’s Rest-Rooms, there’s Cafes. All the MEPs have their Offices with a Couch they can sleep on, and showers in their offices. So it’s All Secure. It’s all Nice, it’s all Warm, it’s all Clean, everything’s Subsidised. And then you Leave the European Parliament building and it’s only a Few Minutes walk before you’re in what could only be described as Ghettos. And I Look at these shopping centres and things like the European Parliament as almost like the Last Stage of this Dying Society, the last sort of thing that’s Good. The Last Thing that’s sort of Painting that Veneer of Everything’s Okay when you’re inside them. But as soon as you are out of those bubbles, it Hits You, just what a Mess we’re Really In!”
