George Galloway is asked, “Whenever Brexit is hammered out, I suppose at some point in our Lifetimes, will Opposition Lawmakers, will they be remembered as Opposition, or do you think they’ll be remembered as Obstructionists?” Mr Galloway responds, “Absolutely the latter. Everyone in Britain can see what’s going on. All of the Opinion Polls show us that the margin between Leave and Remain is only a little better for my side than it was about 55:45. But the majority for Getting This Done, now that the Brexit decision was taken in the Referendum, is now Enormous! It’s about 70 to 30. So everyone can see through all these MPs busily Protecting their Own Seats, their Own Wages, and above all, perhaps their Own Expense Claims, trying to keep this Parliament Alive as long as possible and to Muddy the Waters as much as possible on the Detail, the Minutiae of the Brexit Agreement. It’s quite simple, really. Three years ago, we voted to leave the EU. It’s well past time that we actually left it.”
